The Camp Diversity Foundation gives kids a chance to go to a Christian summer camp for boys in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
A Word from the Executive Director
A Christian camp experience can be a parent’s most powerful tool, outside of the home, for instilling confidence, positive self-esteem, and Christian character in their child. The Camp Diversity Foundation was formed to give economically disadvantaged boys an opportunity to experience Christian Community in a traditional resident camp setting.
“Adventure Week” @ Camp Rockmont will be held August 9-14, 2009. Camp Rockmont in Black Mountain, NC has been selected to provide the facility, trained staff, program, meals, and health care...all funded by the Camp Diversity Foundation!
I invite you to join in partnership as a sponsoring organization of campers.
We want sponsors to identify and help select boys within their care that could benefit from a camp experience. The following pages describe additional responsibilities we wish the sponsoring organizations to assume, and Camp Rockmont’s responsibilities.
